Marquette – The Lake Superior Chapter of the State Employee Retirees Association (SERA) will hold its fall election and luncheon meeting on Wednesday, October 19 at noon at the Holiday Inn in Marquette.
In addition to electing three board members, the group will hear an update on the County Road 595 lawsuit with road commission chair Dave Hall and engineer Jim Iwaniki. There will also be a presentation on the “dark store” issue by citizens committee co-chair Greg Seppanen.
All retirees from state of Michigan employment are welcomed to the meeting and luncheon. Reservations can be made by phone with Cathy Aalto 361-3711 no later than Sunday, October 16. Menu selections include beef stir fry, baked salmon and herb roasted chicken at $13.50.
