Calendar – Films/Documentaries – Late Night Film Series to Screen “Creed” – July 25

Marquette – The late night film series, “And the Winner Is…,” will offer a screening of the sports drama “Creed” on Monday, July 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

A sequel to the popular “Rocky” film series, “Creed” stars Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa, former World Heavyweight Champion, who now is a trainer and mentor to Adonis Johnson, played by Michael B. Jordan. Johnson is the son of Rocky’s late friend and former rival Apollo Creed.

Released in 2015 “Creed” is rated PG-13 and runs for 119 minutes. Viewers are welcome to bring their own refreshments and enjoy the movie in a dinner theater setting.
