Marquette – The Peter White Public Library’s Film Club will offer a public screening of the modern classic film ”The Madness of King George” on Thursday, January 24 at 1 p.m. in the library’s Community Room.
The life and eccentric times of King George III in 1788 are unveiled in this Academy Award-winning adaptation of Alan Bennetts play. Released in 1994, it is rated R and runs for 107 minutes. Light refreshments will be served.
