Calendar – Films/Documentaries – PWPL Film Club Presents “The Madness of King George” – Jan. 24

Marquette – The Peter White Public Library’’s Film Club will offer a public screening of the modern classic film “”The Madness of King George”” on Thursday, January 24 at 1 p.m. in the library’’s Community Room.

The life and eccentric times of King George III in 1788 are unveiled in this Academy Award-winning adaptation of Alan Bennett’s play. Released in 1994, it is rated R and runs for 107 minutes. Light refreshments will be served.
