Forsyth Township Public Library – “The Power of Reading” June 13th – July 23rd

2016 Summer Reading Program Details

Forsyth Township, Michigan – The program runs for six weeks from Monday, June 13th, through Saturday, July 23rd.

Sign up begins the first day of the program, Monday, June 13th. Children from birth through middle school will receive a bag, reading log, and a free book—just for joining! Bring your parents if you can, but you can still sign up if they can’t make it.

Our kickoff party is Wednesday, June 15th, at 5:30 pm. You don’t want to miss this! We’ll have refreshments and (drum roll please) movie characters you can get your photo with!

This year we’re giving away lots of books! The donations of generous patrons have made it possible for children from birth through middle school to earn a book a week throughout the six weeks of the program. Earning prizes is easier than ever! Read for ten periods of fifteen minutes each, and get a reward. You can earn two prizes each week.

We’ll also have weekly drawings for extra prizes, and grand prize drawings at the end of the program.

(No one is left out! We have a program for high school students and adults, too.)

Contact the library for more information: 346-3433.
