Negaunee, MI – Join us for the Great Lakes Recovery Adolescent Services Center Open House on Friday, June 26th from 1PM-3PM at 104 Malton Road, Negaunee, MI.
Great Lakes Recovery Centers, Inc. (GLRC), whose mission is to empower recovery through hope and change, received a USDA grant to facilitate the purchase of our new youth building from Bell Hospital in 2014. The facility was renovated into a premiere youth services center for youth in recovery. It boasts 16 individual rooms with private bathrooms, an art therapy room, a school classroom, an outdoor enclosed courtyard, a greenhouse, a community room and dining area. This is the only youth residential center in the entire Upper Peninsula. We serve youth from around Upper Michigan, neighboring states and farther.
“Our open house provides a fantastic opportunity for the public to see a vital and critical service provided in their community,” comments Greg Toutant, Great Lakes Recovery Centers, Inc., CEO. “The importance of adolescent services is more critical now then ever. We encourage the public to stop by and see this amazing program at work.”
The open house will give community members the opportunity to view the facility, meet the staff, and learn about the services provided, including education and art therapy.
