Marquette – The Building Hope in Uncertain Times will offer a screening of the documentary film “Inequality for All” on Monday, May
16 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
In this film, former U.S. Labor Secretary Robert Reich raises awareness of the country’s widening economic gap. An American economist, author and professor, Reich distills the story through the lens of widening income inequality—currently at historic highs—and
explores what effects this increasing gap has not only on the U.S. economy but also American democracy itself.
Following the film screening, Jesse Wright, PhD, will lead a discussion on the inequality debate in America.
The film was released in 2013, is rated PG and runs for 89 minutes. There is no admission charge.
