Marquette – In recognition of May as Mental Health Awareness month, Your Mind Matters will host a Lunch & Learn session on Borderline Personality Disorder on Monday, May 16 at noon in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Presenters Lottie Kohtala and Mary Carter, both therapists at Pathways Community Mental Health, will provide an overview of Borderline Personality Disorder and how Dialectical Behavior Therapy can effectively cure it. Persons diagnosed with Borderline Personality
Disorder have difficulty regulating their emotions and DBT is a well established treatment for this condition.
There is no admission charge to attend the event and no
pre-registration is required. Attendees are invited to bring a sack lunch, if they choose.
This Lunch and Learn presentation is part of Your Mind Matters, a community dialog on mental health issues sponsored by a coalition of community groups and the Peter White Public Library.
