Calendar – Films/Documentaries – Friday Film Club – Feb. 17

Marquette – The Friday Film Club will show “Do The Right Thing” on Friday, February 17 at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

The film exposes the absurdity of racism in a story of incidents over the course of the hottest day of the year on one block in Brooklyn.

Nominated for two Academy Awards, the 1989 film stars Danny Aiello, Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee, is rated R and runs for 120 minutes.

Light refreshments will be served. A discussion will be held after the film.
