Calendar – Education – Lunch and Learn Session “InShape” – May 10

Marquette – In honor of May as Mental Health month, a drop-in Lunch and Learn session on a new wellness initiative for individuals with serious mental illness called “InShape” will be offered on Tuesday, May 10 at noon in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

Presenter Jesse Wright, RN with Pathways Community Mental Health will give an overview of the program and its goals of improving physical health, increasing quality of life, reducing the risk of diseases, enhancing length of life and reducing stress.

There is no admission charge to attend the event and no pre-registration is required. Attendees are invited to bring a sacklunch. The presentation is part of Your Mind Matters, a community dialog on mental health issues sponsored by a coalition ofcommunity groups and the Peter White Public Library.
