Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer two tours of the unique Net-Zero Home on Saturday, September 28 from 10 a.m. to noon and 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at N8363 Onota Hill Lane, Deerton.
The tour will show the home’s design, features and wind system. The home is owned by Christine and Sam Simonetta The couple earned the Five Star Home Grant from the State of Michigan in 2003 and the GreenMax Home Grant from WPPI Energy and the Alger Delta Electric Cooperative in 2010.
This class is free for NCLL members and $5 for non-members. The registration deadline is September 20. To register, call 227-2979 or email www.nmu.edu/ncll.
