Marquette – Film fans are invited to BYO Dinner Theater event with a screening of “The Big Short” on Thursday, May 5 at 6 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Christian Bale, Steve Carell and Ryan Gosling star as denizens in the world of high-finance who predict the credit and housing bubble collapse of the mid-2000s, and decide to take on the big bands for their greed and lack of foresight.
“The Big Short” is rated R, for language, and runs for 122 minutes. Viewers are welcome to bring their own takeout meal to enjoy in the dinner theater setting. There is no admission charge, but donations are always welcome.
