Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a presentation on outcomes of the 2015 Paris Climate Conference, also known as COP21, as well as Michigan-specific climate issues on Wednesday, March 16 at 7 p.m. in room 101B of the Superior Dome on the NMU campus.
John Forslin, one of 8,000 presenters worldwide trained by the Climate Reality Project, will give the talk. The Paris Climate Conference concluded with 187 countries signing on to a coordinated global effort to limit global warming. Forslin will discuss the goals and prospects for long-term success. He will also present a brief summary of current publications and research on climate change issues for Michigan.
This event will cost $3 for NCLL members and $8 for non members. Register by March 10 by calling 227-2979.
