Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present “Woodworkers Rally: Session III and IV” to be held on Mondays from 8 a.m. to noon in Room 137 of the Jacobetti Center at Northern Michigan University.
Session III runs from January 23 through February 27. Session VI runs from March 12 through April 16.
Participants provide their own plans and materials. Instructor Carl Moore will suggest appropriate tools or machinery in the NMU wood shop and demonstrate how to use them. He will also address skills, safety, finishing techniques and other tricks of the trade. Beginning and advanced woodworkers are welcome.
The cost per session is $40 for NCLL members and $65 for nonmembers. Registeration deadline is Thursday, January 19. Call Jan Hruska at 225-1871.
