Marquette – Northern Michigan University will host Summer Skilled Trade Camps, for 7th through 12th graders, Tuesday, July 18 through Thursday, July 20 at the Jacobetti Complex.
Youth may attend full-day or half-day sessions taught by NMU faculty and qualified community members. They will learn the following trades: auto and small-engine repair, forestry, culinary cuisine, cosmetology, crime scene investigation, welding, building design/construction and bicycle repair and maintenance.
The cost is $65 for a one-day camp, $35 for a half-day camp and $70 for culinary cuisine. For more information and to register, visit nmu.edu/continuingeducation/ or call 227-2103.
