(MARQUETTE, MI) – The Marquette County Conservation District (MCCD) will be hosting a Leap Day event on Monday, February 29th at the Peter White Public Library from 6:00 to 8:30pm. The event will feature updates from your local conservation district and partners.
We are also pleased to feature Stephen Handler, a climate change specialist, from the Northern Research Station-Northern Institute of Applied Climate Science speak about “Climate Change and UP Forests: Risks, opportunities, and ways to adapt”.
