Marquette – The Fred Warra Chapter of Trout Unlimited will sponsor a “Fishing After Hours” program on Wednesday, March 2 at 6:30 p.m. at the Landmark Inn in Marquette.
DNR Fish Biologist Troy Zorn will give a presentation on the DNR coaster brook trout program. This will be an update on the progress of the program since it was started two years ago. The program’s goal is to enhance coaster brook trout populations by regulation of take limits in some limited stream stretches that are prime coaster trout habitat.
All who are interested in cold water fisheries and conservation are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
