Ishpeming, Michigan — This years annual Out of the Darkness: Marquette County Community Walk will be held September 12th at the Al Quaal Recreation Area in Ishpeming, Michigan. To support suicide prevention; to end the stigma of seeking help, to recognize loved ones that are no longer with us, please join our walk.

Activities start at 9AM and the walk begins at 10AM.
Proceeds will be used to fund:
– Local suicide prevention programs
– Support for families affected by suicide in the Upper Peninsula
– The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to fund their
research, education, survivor and awareness programs, nation wide
