Matinee Movie: Into the Woods – May 19th

Marquette, MI (Radio) – Peter White Public Library’s Matinee Movie series continues on Tuesday, May 19 at 12:30pm with a screening of “Into the Woods” in the library’s Community room.

This musical fantasy film is based on the on the Tony Award winning Broadway musical inspired by several Grimm fairy tales. A witch tasks a childless baker and his wife with procuring magical items from classic fairy tales to reverse the curse put on their family tree.

A three time Oscar and Golden Globe award nominee, “Into the Woods” stars Anna Kendrick, Emily Blunt, Chris Pine, Johnny Depp and Meryl Streep. The 2014 film is rated PG and runs for 125min.

Matinee Movie welcomes the public to bring their own lunch and enjoy the feature film with closed captioning on for access to all, in a cafe theater setting.
