Marquette – A Special Exhibit Reception for “Woodland” by Suzan Pitt will be held on
Wednesday May 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Marquette Regional History Center on W. Spring Street in Marquette.
Meet the artist, view the exhibit and explore the old growth primal forest through an artist’s eyes. An
award winning animator and instructor at the California Institute for the Arts, Suzan has spent the last 15 summers at her woodland cabin in Marquette County. Recently she has turned her focus to the adjacent forest and created watercolors, large acrylics and a 24’ mural for the exhibit.
