Vote on Facebook for Diocese of Marquette Lumen Christi Award Nominee

MARQUETTE, MI – The Catholic Diocese of Marquette has nominated St. Francis Connection Center at Sawyer for Catholic Extension’s 2015 Lumen Christi Award. The award honors individuals and groups who share the light of Christ with their diocese and community. The award is accompanied by a $50,000 grant ($25,000 for the honoree and $25,000 for the nominating diocese) to be used for enhancing a specific area of ministry.

The Diocese of Marquette invites people with Facebook accounts to support the St. Francis Connection Center nomination by voting on the Catholic Extension Facebook page. Visit www.CatholicExtension.org and click on “2015 Lumen Christi Awards” to view all entries. Scroll down to find “St. Francis Connection Center” and click on “Vote for this Nominee.” The direct link is http://bit.ly/1xPCvOm. Votes can be cast at least through April 17 and perhaps longer.
