MARQUETTE, Mich.—Aura Syed, a political science professor at Northern Michigan University, recently returned from Pakistan. He will give a talk titled “New Phase of the Afghan Conflict and Threats to Pakistan’s Stability.” The presentation begins at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, in 103 Jamrich. It is free and open to the public.
