‘Eddie Huang: Fresh Off the Boat’ at NMU April 8th

MARQUETTE, MI – Eddie Huang, whose Fresh Off the Boat memoir details his life as the son of Taiwanese-Chinese immigrants creating his own America, will give a presentation at Northern Michigan University. Huang also is a chef, owner of BaoHaus Restaurant in New York City and former lawyer. His talk at NMU will address cultural diversity and awareness, entrepreneurship and more. It is scheduled for 7:30 Wednesday, April 8, in 1100 Jamrich Hall.

Admission is free to NMU students with an ID and $2 for the general public. Huang’s appearance is sponsored by Platform Personalities and the student activity fee.
