MARQUETTE – The Marquette Regional History Center and Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum will hold a fund-raiser to showcase the talents of local bartenders during the inaugural Two Museums Bartender Challenge “Night at the Booze-Eums” Fund-raiser.
Local bartenders will use their mixology expertise to create a “signature” drink. This drink will be tasted by attendees at the event and judged by popular vote and your tips decide the winner! The winner will receive the grand prize travelling trophy and bragging rights to last a life time.
The event takes place on Thursday, May 7 from 7:00pm – 9:00pm. Tickets are $50 in advance (available at marquettehistory.org or at the MRHC & UPCM) and $60 at the door. Tickets include 6 tastes and delicious bar food.
Guests will start at the Children’s Museum to start tasting the signature cocktails and enjoy delicious bar food. Then everyone moves on to the History Center for more cocktail tastes, more delicious bar food and the bartender challenges.
There will be a mystery basket challenge and speed challenge. Participating bartenders will be judged by local foodie/drink experts –and prizes will be awarded.
