Classic Country Concert in Crystal Falls, Michigan – August 23rd, 2015

Crystal Falls, Michigan – The Historic Crystal Theatre, 304 Superior Ave, Crystal Falls MI, presents Sweet Dreams & Honky Tonks: The Music and Lives of Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, and Johnny Cash, starring Tom Waselchuk and Jami Lampkins, on Sunday August 23, 2:00 pm (Central Time).

Sweet Dreams & Honky Tonks stars two Wisconsin music veterans: Tom Waselchuk has performed for over three decades, sometimes juggling multiple projects, but always keeping one foot planted firmly in country music. Mr. Waselchuk is a singer and song writer, and plays guitar, bass and pedal steel guitar. Jami Lampkins moved to Madison in 2007 from Nashville, where she was a finalist in the USA Network’s “Nashville Star” competition. Ms. Lampkins is a powerful singer, an excellent song writer, an accomplished guitarist and banjo player, and has played professionally since age 14.

Mr. Waselchuk and Ms. Lampkins were named 2013 Country/Bluegrass Performer of the Year by the Madison Area Music Awards. And last June their most recent release, A Lick of Sense, won the MAMA’s 2014 Country/Bluegrass Album of the Year. They are regular guest artists on Midwest Country, a music showcase broadcast Saturday evenings in prime-time by RFD-TV network.
