Marquette – The 20th annual “Celebration of Student Research, Creative Works and Academic Service Learning” will be held on Thursday, April 9 beginning at 9 a.m. with an opening ceremony in Room 109 of the Learning Resource Center at Northern Michigan University.
Oral presentations will take place every 15 minutes in that room from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Topics range from the media portrayal of women in prison to the identification of basigin in glioblastoma multiforme stem-like cells. Posters, art and demonstrations will be on display from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the main level of Jamrich Hall.
Winners of the best poster and the Technology Innovation Award for Students also will be recognized. The public is invited to attend.
