Calendar – Films/Documentaries – “The Princess Bride” Screening – Apr. 9

Marquette – Film fans to a spring break celebration of award winning films with a screening of “The Princess Bride” on Thursday, April 9 at 3 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

The 1987 adventure/comedy of the classic fairy tale,
with swordplay, giants, an evil prince, a beautiful princess, and yes, some kissing, is rated PG and runs for 90 minutes.

Viewers are welcome to bring their own snacks and enjoy the film in a cafe setting. There is no admission charge. For more information visit
