The Marquette Home Brewers Club and Blackrocks Brewery will host a series of brewing classes in association with Northern Michigan University. The first session is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, in room 218 of the NMU Jacobetti Complex.
Participants will learn how to brew an extract beer from start to finish, including ingredients, equipment and a first-hand overview of the process. Future classes will cover an all-grain brew and a tour of Marquette’s Blackrocks Brewery.
