NEWS RELEASE
Nominating petition forms are available at the Forsyth, Sands, Skandia, West Branch Township Offices and Marquette County Clerk’s Office for four (4) positions on the Gwinn Area Community Schools Board of Education.
The vacancies are as follows:
Three (3) terms of six (6) years beginning January 1, 2015 and ending December 31, 2020
One unexpired (1) term of four (4) years beginning January 1, 2015 and ending December 31, 2018
Completed petition forms must be submitted by 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 to the respective township office or Marquette County Clerk. At least six (6) valid elector signatures are required (maximum of 20) and each petition form must contain signatures from one (1) township only. A $100.00 nonrefundable filing fee may be filed in lieu of a petition.
The annual school election will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014.
