Exhibit Opening Postponed by Weather

The opening reception for the Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center exhibit, “They Left 150 Years Ago,” has been postponed because of predicted weather conditions on Saturday, Feb. 14. The rescheduled opening reception will be held from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21.

The exhibit will still be on display beginning tomorrow unless the university closes operations because of weather. It features dozens of photographs showing the lives of people in contemporary Finland and Finnish-America.

The Beaumier Center hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Saturday. For more information, call 227-3212.
