Gwinn Schools Search for New Superintendent

GWINN, MI – The Gwinn Area Community Schools Board of Education is beginning its search to find a replacement for the superintendent vacancy occurring in June, 2014. The board is being assisted by the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB), a statewide service organization that supports the work of local school boards.

The first step in the process is gathering input into the desired personal qualities, characteristics and experiences of the successful candidate. This information will be used by the board to create a Candidate Profile which will guide the selection process.

A community survey is available online at the district website (www.gwinn.k12.mi.us). The survey can be completed online and all responses are automatically sent to MASB in Lansing for tabulation and subsequent reporting to the board.

All residents of the district are invited and urged to complete the input survey by Wednesday November 13th.
