Calendar – Films/Documentaries – Vintage Cinema to Screen “The Best Years of Our Lives” – Mar. 2

Marquette – Vintage Cinema will offer a screening of William Wyler’s “The Best Years of Our Lives” starring Myrna Loy and Frederic Marsh on Monday, March 2 at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

This drama follows three U.S. servicemen struggling to readjust to civilian life after coming home from World War II. Released in 1946, “The Best Years of our Lives” won seven Academy Awards including Best Picture, is shown in the original black and white and runs for 172 minutes.
