Calendar – Films/Documentaries – Fall Flicks to Screen “Oz: The Great and Powerful” – Oct. 21

Marquette – Fall Flicks will offer a screening of “Oz: The Great and Powerful” on Monday, October 21 at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

Based on the books by L. Frank Baum, this is the story of, a
small-time circus magician with dubious ethics who is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, He thinks fame and fortune are his for the taking until he meets three witches who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting.

The film is rated PG and runs for 130 minutes. Fall Flicks welcomes the public to bring their own takeout supper and
enjoy this recently released feature film in a dinner theater setting. There is no admission charge.
