Calendar – Films/Documentaries – CineArts Films to Screen “Le Havre” – Dec. 2

Marquette – CineArts Films, a series devoted to foreign and independent films, will screen “Le Havre” on Friday, December 2 at 6 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

When an African boy arrives by cargo ship in the port city of Le Havre, an aging shoe shiner takes pity on the child and welcomes him into his home.

The film will be introduced by Noah Kupper, MSHS student. Released in 2011, the film runs for 93 minutes, is not rated, and is in French with English subtitles. Admission is free. This is a BYO dinner or refreshments event.
