Calendar – Films/Documentaries – Afternoon Classic Films – Dec. 5

Marquette – The Afternoon Classic Films will present a screening of the film “A Christmas Carol” on Monday, December 5 at 1:30 pm in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

Alastair Sim’s performance as the ultimate miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, has almost single-handedly made this beloved version of Charles Dickens’ story into one of the favorite Christmas films of all time.

Released in 1951, the film is shown in black and white and runs for 86 minutes.

There is no admission charge thanks to sponsorship by the Friends of the Peter White Public Library. For more information visit www.pwpl.info or call 226-4318.
