Marquette – DocuMonday will screen the documentary film “Finding Vivian Maier” on Monday, March 2 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
One of the 20th century’s greatest street photographers, Vivian Maier was a mysterious nanny who secretly took over 100,000 photographs that went unseen during her lifetime. Since buying her work by chance at auction, amateur historian John Maloof crusaded to put this prolific photographer in the history books.
The film was released in 2013, is not rated and runs for 83 minutes. There is no admission charge. For more information visit www.pwpl.info or call 226-4318.
