Marquette – Shakespeare Readers will meet for a reading of “Hamlet” on Wednesday, October 1 at 6:30 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.
“Hamlet” is a tragedy dramatizing the revenge Prince Hamlet enacts on his uncle Claudius. Claudius had murdered his own brother, Hamlet’s father, and then seized the throne, marrying his deceased brother’s widow, Hamlet’s mother Gertrude.
Shakespeare Readers is a group for anyone who is intrigued with reading the works of William Shakespeare. They meet on the first Wednesday of each month and new readers are always welcome.
