Marquette County – The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter will conduct the 15th Annual “Calls For Critters” phone-a-thon Wednesday, October 1 from 3 to 8:30 p.m. calling households throughout Marquette County.
The fundraiser will run through October 28. Supporters are also encouraged to call in a pledge to UPAWS at 475-6661. The goal this year is $23,500.
