Marquette – The annual Uniting Neighbors in the Experience of Diversity (UNITED) Conference will present Emily Arnold-Fernández speaking on “Syria, Iraq and Kids at the Border: Responding to the Defining Crises of Our Time” on Wednesday, October 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center at Northern Michigan University.
Arnold-Fernández, founder and director of Asylum Access, is a social entrepreneur and human rights pioneer. Her presentation is free and open to the public.
