Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present two hands-on workshops led by leather worker Al Winfield. The first workshop will feature belts and pet collars on Wednesday, June 12 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the craft room at the Peter White Public Library.
A second workshop will feature an assortment of leather belts on Thursday, June 13 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the craft room at the Jacobetti Home for Veterans.
Individuals may attend one or both sessions. Each will include instructions on staining and embossing the leather. The cost of each workshop is $10 for NCLL members and $15 for non-members. Register by Wednesday, June 4, by calling 227-2979.
