Marquette – Longtime Northern Michigan University professor and historian Russell Magnaghi will be honored with the release of a new volume of essays titled “Northern Border: History and Lore of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and Beyond” with a public celebration on Wednesday, June 4 beginning with a reception at 5:30 p.m. in the atrium area of C.B. Hedgcock at NMU.
A reading by four of the featured writers in will be held at 6:30 p.m. in Reynolds Recital Hall. “Northern Border” will be available for purchase at the event and afterward at the NMU Bookstore, along with other book stores and gift shops.
