Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a class titled “Riffles to Rises” on Wednesday, June 15 at Strawberry Lake. Participants should meet at 12:30 p.m. at Jack’s IGA in Harvey to car pool to Strawberry Lake.
Ken Snyder of Trout Unlimited will provide instruction on fly-fishing equipment and casting, aquatic insects and knot tying. No fishing licenses are required. All fishing equipment is provided.
This class is free for NCLL members, $5 for others. Registration deadline is Friday, June 10. Call Penny Larsen at 892-8447 to register.
