Marquette, Michigan – The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center will host a free informational workshop presented by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA). This workshop is open to anyone interested in filing for a MCACA grant and will be offered on Thursday, July 10 from 9 a.m. to noon at the MACC, which located in the lower level of the Peter White Public Library at 217 N. Front Street in Marquette.
This workshop will inform applicants about grant guidelines and the application process for Michigan nonprofit organizations, schools and municipalities. Proposed projects must take place between January 1, 2015 and September 20, 2015 and applications are due on October 1, 2014.
Workshop attendance is not required for grant applicants; however, updated guidelines and application process changes will be reviewed at the meeting. Pre-registration or RSVPs are not required.
