Negaunee -The 35th annual Pioneer Days Parade will be held on Saturday, July 12 beginning at 11:30a.m. Line-up begins at 10:30a.m. This year’s grand marshall and theme is “Jayne Letts and BBBS, Honoring Brothers and Sisters Everywhere.”
Following the parade, the Pioneer Days Community Picnic will take place from 1 p.m. until dusk at Teal Lake, featuring food, music, children’s activities and more. There will be live music with Bobby Hayes and the Bloods from 2 to 4 p.m. and Cherry Bombs from 5 to 7 p.m. Patriotic music will be played by Sunny 101.9 from 7 to 11 p.m.
The fireworks display will be at dusk over Teal Lake.
