Your Mind Matters Lunch & Learn: How to Change Addictive Behaviors — May 13th

In celebration of May as Mental Health month, the Peter White Public Library hosts a noontime drop-in informational session on How To Change Addictive Behaviors on Tuesday, May 13 at 12:00pm in the library’s Community Room.

Presenter Mary Ritter, LPC, a licensed therapist in private practice, will examine the four most common additive behaviors: alcohol, drugs, food, and gambling and how to get the help to break free.

Mary Ritter, LPC, CAADC, is the Therapist/Case Manager with Thyrapie, LLC, in Ishpeming and Marquette, offering confidential counseling to adults and adolescents, specializing in depression, anxiety, eating disorders, substance abuse, family issues, PTSD, and grief and loss issues.

There is no admission charge and no pre-registration is required. Attendees are invited to bring a sack lunch.

This Lunch & Learn presentation is part of Your Mind Matters, a community dialog on mental health issues sponsored by a coalition of community groups and the Peter White Public Library.
