Calendar – Education – Native American Service Learning Partnership Institute – April 3-4

Marquette – The inaugural Native American Service Learning Partnership Institute will be held Thursday and Friday, April 3 and 4 at Northern Michigan University.

It will focus on how academic service learning partnerships can address multiple needs of tribal communities. The keynote speaker will be William Mendoza, executive director of the White House Initiative on American Indian and Alaska Native Education.

This event is free, but registration is requested. Forms and more information are available at www.nmu.edu/nativeamericans.
