(Houghton, Michigan) — Electron microscopes provide amazingly clear images of samples just a few nanometers across. But if you want a good look at living tissue, they fall short, because you can’t put liquid in an electron microscope, and tissue is watery.
Now, a new technique pioneered by Tolou Shokuhfar at Michigan Technological University may change that, opening up new visits for science and medicine.
