Old Hat at the Joy Center in Ishpeming Feburary 12th

Ishpeming—The old story teller is back! Poet, actor, and storyteller, B.G. Bradley will perform a one man show at the Joy Center (1492 Southwood Drive) Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. And this time, he’ll be drawing his topics from an old hat! Thus the name of the show: Old Hat.

“The set up is, everybody who comes will write two nouns on two notecards,” said Bradley, “one concrete like, ‘chair’ and one abstract like ‘freedom’. From there, I’ll do my best to create a story or poem right on the spot based on those nouns.”

Who knows what will happen from there. Plan on hearing stories and poems from the outdoors and indoors, from classrooms, stages, and the woods and lakes of this peninsula.

Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for students. All proceeds will benefit the Joy Center.
