Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum Offering “the world on a plate” January 26th

MARQUETTE, MI – The 13th Annual Culinary Journey is coming up Sunday, January 26th from 6:00 until 8 p.m. at the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum in Marquette. This adult fund-raising event features culinary creations from around the world by some of this region’s most talented chefs, plus an ample selection of fine wines from Everyday Wines, live music from Travis Swanson and Harry South and floral accents by Flower Works. Tickets are on sale now. They are $65 each, or $120 a couple. They are available at the Children’s Museum store or by calling (906) 226-3911. A limited number will also be available at the door.

“This is a chance for people to partake in what has become one of the best food events in the region,” according to Museum Director Nheena Weyer Ittner. “It is an absolutely not-to-be-missed feast.”

One side note: The Children’s Museum will be closed all day on Sunday, January 26th so that the many chefs participating in the 13th Annual Culinary Journey can set up their delectable delights.
