The Michigan State Waterways Commission (MSWC) will hold its regular meeting on Friday, Aug 23 at the St. Ignace Municipal Building, located at 396 N. State St. in St. Ignace, MI. The public meeting begins at 9 a.m. The agenda includes updates on the Emergency Dredging Program, budget and operation status and a resolution regarding commercial uses (i.e., charter boats) at Ludington Municipal Harbor. Also the Commission will be briefed on the St. Ignace area Parks and Recreation-managed boating facilities. On Thursday, Aug. 22, there will be a tour of various boating facilities, including the newly renovated Maple Bay access site on Burt Lake and other locations.
