The Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum in downtown Marquette will once again ring in the New Year with its 17th Annual Elementary Ball, Tuesday, Dec. 31 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Kids from all around the Upper Peninsula are invited to attend this high-energy night of celebration, according to Museum Director Nheena Weyer Ittner.
“This is the premiere children’s New Year’s Eve celebration. It’s our most popular event every year at the Children’s Museum and It is a not-to-be-missed evening of fun,” she said.
The event, as always, will feature DJ music, snacks, party favors and the annual countdown and lighted ball drop from the top of the museum.
All area children are encouraged to come out and welcome in 2014 with their friends and neighbors. Admission for the special event is $5 for all children. Adults are free. Tickets are available at the door. The Elementary Ball is sponsored by Super One Foods.
